WIDE OPEN SKY

It was a delight to work with such a passionate person like Lisa. She had so much energy for this special film and had a keen ear for the music. We used a great deal of Dirty Three works thanks to the very helpful Warren Ellis whom I’m sure never sleeps! I would call or email and Warren would reply instantly whether he was down the road, over in Brighton UK or on tour travelling the world. A huge thanks to his quick responses. We also had some “touch & go” moments with a re-recording that in the end came through with a little help from Trackdown Studios and Warner Chappell Music. Alberts came to the party too with affordable doco synch fees for The John Butler Trio. Suffice to say, we have an amazing soundtrack connected to a film that everyone involved is very proud of.
